Prep School Joshby ~Boy-Meets-Hero

This is the second of a pair of commissions done for a wonderful client we worked with named Brendan of his original character: Josh.

What Brendan wanted with this illustration was a sort of Superman and Clark Kent type of feel - except the superhero "costume" is skater attire, while the 'mild-mannered everyday identity' is the coat in tie look.

This image features Josh after he's been sent to a posh boarding school in preppy “dress code” attire - hair still in the shaggy cut but a bit more styled, coat and tie, white button down collar shirt, khakis, loafers, with a backpack slung over his shoulder.
