Our gallery definitely needs some girl power!

So I give you Supergirl! Yay!

I recently bought the DCUC 2-pack from Mattel that features Supergirl and an armored Lex Luthor. I was lucky enough to find them at Toys R Us at retail price, meaning I didn't need to go to eBay to get them for two or three times their original cost. Both figures are way cool, especially Supergirl! So because I had Superman's cousin on the brain, I decided to draw Kara Zor-El.

I used the same color scheme for this rendering as I did for Superlad [link] , since they essentially wear the same costume. For some reason I really like blonde heroes that wear red and blue with a bit of yellow thrown in. So illustrating Supergirl was actually a lot of fun for me. Hope you enjoy!

Beautiful. You definitely captured her youth here. And I can definitely tell you used the DCUC figure as reference for the hair.
