He-Man and She-Ra, the most powerful siblings in the universe!

This was commissioned by one of our fans who also commissioned the Superboy image from us a while back. [link]

This was a lot of fun for me to draw. I collected the re-imagined versions of "Masters of the Universe" figures that came out in 2002. I really got into those incredible designs and I loved the corresponding cartoon series as well. It was such a disappointment when the whole re-boot got abruptly and unfairly canceled...

Illustrating He-man came pretty easy for me and I got him just right on the first try. She-Ra was a little trickier. I had to re-work her pose about three times, but I think she turned out pretty good.

Russell did a fantastic job on the colors and I love the subtle image of Castle Grayskull behind them. The gold on She-Ra looks very nice as well!

Great job! what the program that u used? how can you trace the lines so perfectly?

Thank you! I draw the lines by hand. They start out as a rough sketch and then I transfer that to a bristol board by placing the board over the sketch on a light table. After the new rendering is finished, we scan it and then colorize it in Photoshop. :)
